This will be an interactive livestream where you have the unique opportunity to ask questions to all three key players in this world premiere. True Concord’s Founding Director, Eric Holtan, will join Composer, Jake Runestad, and Librettist/Poet Todd Boss as they discuss the process of building this brand-new moving piece, commissioned by True Concord Voices & Orchestra. In this profound new work, Jake Runestad and poet Todd Boss have created a sweeping and compelling monologue of a mother (Mother Earth) telling the history of her children, humankind. Through vivid orchestral color and rich musical themes, the work immerses the audience in the essence of Mother Earth.
