“Velvet-voiced baritone” (NPR)
“…an elegant singer” (New York Magazine)
“His voice is destined for greatness.” (EarRelevant)
In a “breakout performance” (The New York Times) opening the Met’s 21-22 season, Liverman headlined the widely celebrated Fire Shut Up in My Bones by Terence Blanchard, which won the 2023 GRAMMY Award for Best Opera Recording. He has sung with the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony, New York Festival of Song, Dutch National Opera, London Symphony Orchestra and more. Hailed as “glorious” (BBC Music) and “spellbinding,” (San Francisco Classical Voice) Liverman’s album Show Me The Way was nominated in 2025 for a GRAMMY for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album.
Don’t miss this rare, intimate performance of “a voice for this historic moment” (The Washington Post) in a program of American composers.

Founded by True Concord members Christina Kay and Kim Leeds, Filigree Ensemble merges historical traditions with modern creativity through inventive arrangements, ornamentation and improvisation, and thoughtful programming spanning the medieval to the modern. Christina and Kim take us back to 1776 with a program of music by leading European composers from that time mixed with music from colonial America.
