Artistic Residencies

Funds will support residencies of leading Latino, Native American and Black artists as part of our efforts to increase diversity of artists and programming. In addition to performances, these artists/composers would be involved with engagement activities with youth and/or larger community.

Composer-in-Residence/Engagement Programming Activities

Funds will support expansion of engagement with youth and larger community through activities led by Composers-in-Residence, e.g. “Compose Like a Girl” initiative in partnership with Literacy Connects “Stories that Soar,” growing our partnership with Manzo Elementary, providing educational background to video concerts, etc.

Artist Retention Initiatives

Funds will attract and retain more top-tier artists, ensuring that True Concord can be competitive with our peers in compensation

National Public Relations & Broadcasting

Funds will support engagement of a national firm to capitalize on our production of commissions and recordings by securing more air play by public radio stations and performances with presenters around the country

Staffing

Funds will add additional staffing to support the operational, administrative and outreach efforts of True Concord, ensuring organizational stability and longevity

Endowment

Funds will seed our new endowment and ensure that we have annual income from interest earned on investments that will support True Concord in perpetuity. Our endowment will grow over time with designated gifts and bequests from our patrons and supporters for years to come to support future artistic initiatives and organizational capacity.

Campaign Expenses

Funds will pay for campaign fundraising materials and the support of a fundraising consultant to guide our campaign to success.
