Whether it is performing classical plays, belting musical theater or singing opera, Dennis’ are with choral singing. From an early age, Dennis sang with the Phoenix Boys Choir under the direction of Harvey K Smith and was able to travel to such wonderful countries like Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
In College, Dennis tried a different career path and received a B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at the University of Arizona. His musical roots called him back to performing and he ended up getting his B.M. in Voice at the University of Arizona. Dennis also received his M.M. in Voice at the University of Northern Colorado. He has performed with such companies as Arizona Theater Company, The Rogue Theatre, The Invisible Theatre, Oro Valley Theater Company, and the Gaslight Theatre. Some of his credits include: Fezziwig/Jollygoode in ATC’s revival of “Scrooge: The Musical!”, Max Bialystock in The Producers (MAC Nomination), Dr. Fine/Dr.Madden in Next To Normal, Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Bill in Mamma Mia! and Alfie in A Man of No Importance and most recently the title role in Jekyll & Hyde. Dennis has also enjoyed an active opera career over the past 20 years and has performed with such companies as Southern Arizona Opera, Phoenix Opera, Opera New Jersey, Opera Classica, Wiesbaden, Germany; Opera Fort Collins, Colorado; Arizona Opera, Tucson and Loveland Opera Theater, Colorado.
Throughout it all, Dennis enjoys performing with the high caliber musicianship he experiences with True Concord.
