Thomas W. Strawser, a native of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, was a resident artist for Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, College Light Opera Company in Massachusetts, and Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA. His professional choral experience includes the Philadelphia Singers, Solis Camerata, Manhattan Chorale, the Grammy-award winning Phoenix Chorale, and a choral residency at St. Alban’s Cathedral in St. Alban, England. He is currently the Assistant Music Director at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church in Paradise Valley, AZ, and is a founding director of A/C Theatre Company, the newest resident theatre company at Phoenix Theatre. Thomas is also an actor here in the Valley and has been involved in productions at Childsplay, Arizona Opera, Phoenix Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Nearly Naked Theatre, and ASU’s Lyric Opera Theatre and School of Theatre and Film. He is also one of the founding directors of A/C Theatre Company, the newest resident theatre company at Phoenix Theatre. Thomas holds a Master of Music in Opera/Musical Theatre Performance from ASU and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
